So, Spacing Out hasn't been updated since August. That's two months without even a single word regarding the status of this comic, whether it's on hiatus, or cancelled entirely, or something else. At first I chalked it up to a combination of depression, sleep deprivation, and finding a job that consumed too much of my time.

But I can't use those as shields to hide behind, not if I want to become a professional comic artist. People get depressed, people lose their spark, and people move on, doing what makes them happier or doing something creative to reignite their spark. I did none of those things and spent months wallowing in self-pity, making no progress, and what little progress I did make I wasn't happy enough with to continue forward with.

What I let happen to this comic, allowing it to go for months without even changing the story info to notify readers of the hiatus, is inexcusable, and I want to offer my apologies.

What does this mean for the comic? Well, for starters, while I've finally come around and gotten to work on pages and scripts again, I have almost no buffer pages in the event that I can't do any work on time. That said, I do also have a job that demands quite a bit of my time, making it even harder to get very many buffer pages done. The comic will return on December 1st, and from there will update every Tuesday.

Again, I apologize for the lack of updates until now, and promise to do my absolute best to not only personally enjoy making stories again, but to also make the stories I write interesting and fun enough for you, the readers, since without you, this comic would have little to no reason to exist.

See you on December 1st, lovelies <3
